
Government of Canada’s Atlantic Innovation Fund Invests Nearly $20 Million in New Brunswick R&D

The Honourable Keith Ashfield, Minister of National Revenue, Minister of the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency and Minister for the Atlantic Gateway speaks with Andrew Justason, General Manager of the Centre for Nuclear Energy Research (CNER), University of New Brunswick at today’s Atlantic Innovation Foundation (AIF) announcement in Moncton.
CNER will receive approximately $1.3 million from the AIF over a three-year period, in collaboration with numerous energy sector partners, to develop and commercialize instrumentation to monitor the condition of steel piping systems, designed to increase efficiency and security in nuclear and non-nuclear facilities.
