    FEDERAL AND PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENTS INVEST FUNDS TO INCREASE EXPORTS OF NB AND PEI FROZEN LOBSTER PRODUCTS TO CHINA
    As part of an 18 month market development strategy, seven New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island companies and fishermen associations from the lobster industry recently returned from China after a two week trade mission to promote frozen lobster products, thanks to investments by the Government of Canada and the provinces of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.     The best of Atlantic Canada will be presented to the world during the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games. Canada’s four Atlantic Provinces, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador along with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency, are pleased to present the Atlantic Canada House in Vancouver from February 13 to 28, 2010.

    GOVERNMENT OF CANADA SUPPORTS EXPANSION OF JIFFY PRODUCTS IN SHIPPAGAN
    The Minister of State for ACOA, Keith Ashfield, today announced an investment of $500,000 in Jiffy Products in Shippagan for the expansion of its facility and purchase of equipment. The project will help the company increase its production capacity, meet the market demand and create 92 new jobs in the Acadian Peninsula. (more»)
